Jennifer is a senior at Los Altos High School who founded and runs Leaders and Readers. A passionate reader herself, Jennifer can recall memories of summers spent in the library lost in the pages of books. She created this program in 8th grade, hoping to share that same love of reading with younger kids. Besides being an avid reader who often finds herself with her nose buried in a book, some of Jennifer's other interests include running, baking, math, and civic engagement.

Jacky is a senior at Woodside Priory School. Since her first reading session in July 2020, she has seen shy kids become upbeat readers who share her enthusiasm for books. She finds all her experiences working with kids to never fail to be cheerful and rewarding ones. Some of her other interests include soccer, climbing, choir, and science. Anika is a senior at Los Altos High School who's always had a passion for teaching. Ever since she was little, she's known that she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up. She loves to compete in Lego robotics competitions as well as sing and dance all the time. Some of her favorite book genres and fantasy, young adult fiction, and historical fiction.

Isabel is a senior at Los Altos High School. She is an active leader and volunteer. She is a part of SCL(school leadership), NCL, and other programs. She loves to read and help others. Isabel is excited to grow her skills in this program. She can't wait to work and read with your students!

Katie is a senior at Los Altos High School who has always loved to read. She helped her sister read when she was younger and wants to spread the joy of reading!
